Being autistic can be very isolating and exhausting! We would like you to help support our members to embrace their differences. There is a lot of outdated information about autism online, help us build a community that listens to autistic voices and a place volunteers, parents and carers can connect. Autistic young people are amazing so it's also fun and rewarding!
Anyone can volunteer. All of our adult volunteers must of course adhere to our safeguarding policy. We also ask that if you are not neurodivergent, you empathise and understand the difficulties our young people experience as a result of living in a society that isn't set up for them. We can provide opportunities for young people to volunteer for short periods of time to gain work experience that may be needed for education applications and for awards such as The Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
